Faith Martin was close to winning Gerry Turner’s final rose. She was one of the final three contestants on the first-ever season of The Golden Bachelor. However, the 72-year-old retiree chose to send Faith home and give his rose to Theresa Nist. The golden couple tied the knot in a televised ceremony in January, which Faith attended.
Since her time on the reality show, she’s returned to her simpler life in Washington state. Faith gave fans a glimpse of the small-town life she’s living.
However, her small-town life still has a side of glamour to it. She recently shared with fans a fun trip to New York City that included a stop on Broadway.

The Golden Bachelor star took to her Instagram earlier this weekend to share the sweetest photo of her two best friends. Viewers of the show already know that Faith loves horses. Her two friends do have four legs but a lot more fur than horses.
“My two Besties,” she wrote alongside a photo of two dogs relaxing together on a dog bed. One dog has yellow and brown fur, its mouth half open in a smile. The other dog is a darker orange-ish color with its ears half-raised as if Faith had just said its name to get a good photo, a struggle dog owners are familiar with.

Bachelor Nation Fans Gush Over Adorable Photo
Faith Martin is one Bachelor alum who regularly interacts with her followers. One fan asked for more details about her furry friends, including their names and breeds.
The radio host was more than happy to talk more about the dogs. She replied, “Rowdy is a pit/ Sharpei he’s is 5. Sable is a Shepard chow mix (I think) she’s a year old. Both are rescue pups and my best friend.”
The post about her besties received hundreds of heart reactions, including one from Theresa Nist. Despite dating the same man, Faith and Theresa have remained close friends since filming ended.
