‘The Rookie’ Season 6 Has New Addition Examining Their Heads
After The Rookie Season 5 deadly cliffhanger ending, the Mid-Wilshire Division may not mentally be able to tackle their duties. Moreover, they may feel like they have a target on their backs. Perhaps they are not wrong about that.
Therefore, there is a need for someone to help each member of this team get over their trauma. That is why there will be a new addition to the cast for Season 6.

The Rookie Season 5 Means Trauma To The Mid-Wilshire Division During Season 6
The Rookie Season 5 ended with a lot of earth-shattering trauma. An unknown assailant is after the Mid-Wilshire Division. Now, in The Rookie Season 6, the team is dealing with the repercussions of this incident. Even though Nolan (Nathan Fillion) has one focus. He has to just get through one last shift before he and Bailey (Jenna Dewan) finally get married.
According to TV Line, Danielle Campbell has been cast in a recurring role. She portrays LAPD psychiatrist Blair. Moreover, she is going to be on the ABC series in the first episode of the sixth season.
Blair will help the team process this entire situation. Moreover, she will help them deal with the current situation. They feel that they were targeted and the evidence shows that this is true.
Bailey and Nolan were home when they were attacked. Most of all, this was not an amateur attack. Nolan quickly figured out that the suspect in this organized masked brigade had to be financed by some big money.
Next, Nyla (Mekia Cox) and James (Arjay Smith) barely save their daughter Leah from the masked vigilantes.
But, there is no closure. That is because the prime suspect allowed himself to be killed by the LAPD.
What the Mid-Wilshire Division does not know that the audience does is that Nolan is right. When all of this intensity is happening, the camera cuts to an Escalade and the passenger inside. Portrayed by Kristian Braun, this elegant-looking villain laughed and shared that they managed to distract the team.
“And by the time they realize the damage we’ve done, we’ll be long gone.”
Sounds like Blair will be around a lot this season.

The premiere of The Rookie Season 6 is on Tuesday, February 20, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on ABC.
