ABC Releases ‘The Rookie’ Season 6 ‘Cursed’ Trailer
ABC has finally released The Rookie Season 6 trailer. Fans have waited for this long-awaited preview since the Season 5 cliffhanger finale of the ABC police procedural drama. In that episode, the team faced an unknown adversary (Kristian Bruun) that threatened to upend the Mid-Wilshire Division.
Now the new trailer is finally out. It has been nearly nine months that fans have waited to see what happens. What does this trailer reveal?
ABC Releases The Rookie Season 6 Trailer
On Wednesday, ABC released the official trailer for The Rookie Season 6. This is what fans have been waiting for. Firstly, the video repeats what happened in that action-packed Season 5 finale.
Firstly, John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) checks on Aaron Thorson (Tru Valentino) who is still in a coma. The officer is in a coma and dealing with internal bleeding. That made it a code blue.
Next, we see that Nolan is dealing with an unknown obstacle in his wedding to Bailey (Jenna Dewan) But, it turns out the “last shift” is cursed. At least that is what Angela Lopez (Alyssa Diaz) foretold.
Therefore, it is of no surprise that this episode is called “The Curse Of The Last Shift.”
But, not everything is light and bright. At the end of the video, Sergeant Wade Grey’s (Richard T. Jones) stoic image and voice makes a powerful statement that this war that happened to his team will only end up “with bad guys in handcuffs.”

What Is ‘The Curse Of The Last Shift’ About?
What do we know about The Rookie episode entitled “The Curse Of The Last Shift”? So far, there has not been any more information than what was hinted at in the Season 6 premiere episode. It sounds like other members of the Mid-Wilshire Division have stories about the bad luck of the last shift before they got married. Or did they not end up getting married?
Based on how long Nolan took waiting to move forward from his rookie cop status, his marriage to Bailey could be delayed. Or could a new addition lead to issues that cause a rift between this couple or bring them closer together?
It was recently reported that Danielle Campbell is joining the series as a recurring guest portraying LAPD psychiatrist Blair. That means the team may be struggling after what happened. Can they still trust their instincts? Sounds like Blair is there to help them rebound from this horrific event.
However, when feelings come out, that could lead to some of the relationships being tested. Can they survive the psychological damage that has happened by this coordinated attack?
