Despite shooting up the music charts, Nicki Minaj’s brand new Megan Thee Stallion diss track, Big Foot, has left fans with a mixed reaction.

Rap beefs are nothing new. In fact, you probably haven’t made it as a successful rapper without feuding with a fellow rapper or two. For Nicki Minaj, the 41-year-old rapper has been no stranger to standing her ground throughout her career. So when she felt slighted by Megan Thee Stallion’s latest single, Hiss, Nicki Minaj quickly threw together her new song, Big Foot.

Fans React To Nicki Minaj’s Diss Track Big Foot

In the hours leading up to the release of Big Foot, Nicki Minaj has been steadily posting on X. The rapper has not held back on Megan Thee Stallion, often going after her fellow rapper’s artistry. In Big Foot, Nicki Minaj hints at continuing her attack. “Now listen up, Big Foot. You know I got a lotta tea. I went easy on you,” the song’s outro begins.

As the song concludes, Nicki Minaj offers up her reasoning for the diss track. “H*, the things that you’ve lied about, even pertaining to your mom. You don’t want them out, okay? Now since you think it’s funny to speak about people’s families we’ll all join in. We’ll all play the reindeer games. Soon as your new nose heals and soon as your— well, let’s leave that for the second installment, rrr,” Nicki Minaj writes.

On Nicki Minaj’s Instagram post counting down the release of the song, one fan was disappointed in the direction of the song. “Somebody said if Nicki acts any more childish, her husband gonna have to leave the house and I haven’t been right since 😩” the fan wrote.

Another fan couldn’t help but note their underwhelming reaction to the song. “I’m not a liar so I’m gonna be honest nicki but if you spend the entire song talking about her foot and her mother this will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the WEAKEST and most trash diss tracks of all time. I’m holding out hope I really hope you don’t disappoint and make this an easy win for Meg,” the fan wrote.

“This was the weakest song ever. You sound coked out on it. It was all over the place. I expected better,” a third fan wrote.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Opening Shot

Nicki Minaj’s Big Foot comes just a few days after Megan Thee Stallion went all in her track, Hiss. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, she attempted to explain who she was targeting in her song. “It’s for these b******, or these h***, b****** and h*** alike, men or women; every time one of these motherf****** use Megan Thee Stallion name, they get 24 hours of attention,” she explained. “Basically, I understand what y’all doing, and I want y’all to get up off me. Do something else. Do something different. Use another tactic. This one getting old.”

However, Nicki Minaj appears to have taken exception to one verse in particular. In Hiss, Megan Thee Stallion reportedly goes after Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who was forced to register as a sex offender after his conviction of an attempted rape in 1995. “These h*** don’t be mad at Megan, these h*** mad at Megan’s Law. I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start. B****, you a p****, never finna check me. Every chance you get, bet your weak a** won’t address me,” Megan Thee Stallion’s lyrics read.

“It’s been rdy for 2 days. just was tryna be cool & let her get her lil streams. wasn’t gon say anything. But I remember how everyone kept my name in their mouth & how I said the next person mention my family gon regret it. Btw, they haven’t even heard the song. Who said it’s even a ‘diss’,” wrote Nicki Minaj in a January 28 post on X.
