According to the UPtv synopsis, tech developer Vivian Blair has created the perfect dating app algorithm. She calls it My Perfect Match. But, will her boss Wes Robinson, owner of Robinson Tech launch this app?
Although Wes wants a golf app, he is willing to launch this one. However, he is privately skeptical that My Perfect Match will ever help someone find love. He insists that “nothing lasts forever.” Although Vivian outwardly disagrees, she inwardly does. Her dad left when she was young, and now she doesn’t trust anyone. But, her job depends on this app’s success. He is the new CEO. Therefore he is pushing to show that he is capable in his new position.
However, the stakes go up when Wes and Vivian are on live television. The host of the show they are on is quite skeptical that this app can help someone find true love. After the host learns that it has not been tested on people, they get an idea. The host challenges Wes and Vivian to test this out for size. Surprisingly, the algorithm shows them “some interesting results.”
Soon, the CEO and tech developer spend more time together. It turns out, the algorithm was so good that it knew this was a perfect match. But, will Wes and Vivian use their romantic cynicism to keep romantic magic from happening? Or, will each of their family members try to push them closer, when they are trying to avoid taking the risk of falling in love?
