Sutton Stracke Gets Honest About Co-Parenting With Overseas Ex-Husband
Sutton Stracke was reportedly only a ‘friend of’ in her first few seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she couldn’t show her children on camera.
She opened up more about her ex-husband in Season 13. She told co-star Kyle Richards that her outlandish behavior at Kyle’s house was due to the stress involving her ex. Sutton was married to Christian Stracke from 2000 to 2016. They share three children: daughter Porter, 21, and sons Philip, 20, and James, 17.
While the older children are at college, James still lives at home. Sutton revealed on RHOBH that her ex was moving to England. At the time, she was afraid he would take their youngest son with him. However, James lives full-time with Sutton in California.
She spoke to Us Weekly about the difficulty of co-parenting. Sutton claims she has a good relationship with her ex, but the time difference makes it “hard.”
The RHOBH star admitted that having her son full-time was an adjustment. “I was used to week-on, week-off, week-on, week-off, and that’s how I developed my schedule, [but] I can’t do that anymore,” she confessed.

Sutton Stracke’s‘s esophagus has been a huge topic of discussion on Season 13 after she claimed not to be able to eat certain foods. RHOBH newcomer Annemarie Wiley claimed that Sutton was fabricating the esophagus disorder.
Season 13 is still airing on Bravo, but the cast got together to film the reunion episode on January 26. According to Bravo blogger BravoBabe, Sutton Stracke had a medical emergency after the reunion taping.
The blogger wrote on Twitter, “Sutton passed out at then[sic] end of the day and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. Garcelle went with.”
