Ariana Madix Shows Off Dance She Performs As Roxie Hart
Ariana Madix recently showed off a dance that she performs in the Broadway musical Chicago where she stars as Roxie Hart. During the interview, Ariana lets fans in on how appreciative she is of the role. She also explains how she relates to Roxie Hart and it lets her be more connected to the character she is playing.
Ariana Madix Does Not Want to Be Known For Scandoval
Ariana went into detail during an interview with People about how she does not want people to think she only got this opportunity because of the Scandoval that occurred.
“I’m keenly aware what brought me here, but I don’t want that to be what people think about when they leave the theater, as cool as it is, it’s very Hamiltonfor me: I cannot throw away my shot. When I go out there, I really want people to say, ‘She belongs here.’ I don’t want people to say, ‘Oh, she got cast because of whatever and nothing else.’ “
Fans completely understand that Ariana Madix wants this experience to be as genuine as possible and for people to not remember her for that.
How Does She Relate To Roxie Hart?
Madix also feels as though she relates to Roxie Hart in ways.
“Honestly, I connect most with Roxie’s hope that her performing dreams might be able to come true, there’s a monologue before [the song] ‘Roxie’ where she says, essentially, ‘I thought all that had passed me by, but I still might get to be in vaudeville. I still might have my own act now. I got me a world full of yes. Because before, it was no, no, no, no, no.’ And I understand that deeply.”
Ariana also showed off a dance that she performs as Roxie and it looks amazing. Ariana does not want to only be known for reality TV. She wants people to feel as though she belongs on the stage and was meant to do that. How do you think this experience will be for her?
