‘Love After Lock Up’ Kevin Hale Hits On Lindsey Downs For New Season?
Love After Lockup celeb Kevin Hale is a “bad boy” in every sense of the word. Recently, he seems to have his sights set on an equally toxic WEtv cast member, Lindsey Downs. So, are these two an item, or, are they just looking to be on another season?
Love After Lockup: Kevin Hale Is A Piece Of Work
Typically, the formula for Love After Lockup is that someone who doesn’t have an extensive rap sheet gets with someone currently behind bars. Whether or not these newly-released felons can adjust to life back on the outside is always a question mark, as well as whether or not they can handle being in a relationship once they are back on the outside.
When it comes to bad boy Kevin Hale, he was the one looking to start something with his love interest at the time, Tiffany, who was behind bars five years for possession of a controlled substance. However, as Love After Lockup viewers have seen, Kevin isn’t exactly squeaky clean himself.

LAL: Kevin Hale Has A Criminal Past
Much like the women Kevin Hale typically goes after, he, too, has a criminal past. The truck driver was arrested and found guilty of possession of marijuana three different times. Suffice it to say, Kevin certainly embodies the bad boy persona. In addition, that is exactly the type of woman he goes after as well.
Because Kevin has a thing for toxic women with criminal records, this often creates a classic relationship cocktail with no shortage of drama. At one point in previous scenes, Kevin had two women pining for him. So, he is certainly a good cash cow for WEtv to keep around for more seasons.
Love After Lockup: Kevin Shoots His Shot With Lindsey Downs?
Love After Lockup fans will never forget Lindsey Downs and the roller coaster relationship she had with Scott Bradshaw. Even after breaking things off with Scott, Lindsey had a thing with Daonte Sierra. These two were able to squeeze more airtime as well.
After Daonte, Lindsey secured the bag with Blaine, landing more screen time in the process. So, she always seems to be shopping around to film more scenes with the network.
Based on recent social media updates, it looks like Kevin Hale had a similar idea, as he seemed to shoot his shot with the WEtv celeb. Kevin commented on one of Lindsey’s recent pic updates with a fire emoji, leading many Love After Lockup fans to think he was trying to get his foot in her door.
- In response, one fan wrote: “Oh God, please don’t give them any ideas for how to bring Lindsey back for another season. I can’t handle her terrible “acting”.
- Still, other fans are into the idea of Kevin and Lindsey, with one writing: “I would 100% ship u both”.
Indeed, it wouldn’t be a stretch for these two to get into a relationship to secure more airtime with Love After Lockup or one of the other spinoffs. As things stand, Kevin Hale certainly has a type when it comes to toxic women.
Interestingly, Lindsey Downs regularly tags Blaine in social media updates. So, it certainly seems like these two are still together. Even though the show is making fans belive they are headed for a major breakup. If Kevin really does have his eye on her, it looks like a grab for more airtime, if anything.
Kevin clearly has his own toxicity that comes out in his relationships, though. Due to this, these two could be the ideal drama-filled cocktail for WEtv to take right to the bank, whether their “relationship” is legit or not.
