Sharon Osbourne Reveals Shocking Suicide Attempt
Sharon Osbourne has always prided herself as a strong woman, but there was a time in her life when she considered suicide. In a recent talk in front of fans on Sunday, Sharon admitted there was a moment when she thought about ending her own life. She then explained why that happened and what the results were in the end.

Sharon Osbourne has always seemed like the strongest member of her family. She ran her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s career and helped raise her family at the same time. However, there was a time when the music manager almost gave up on life. In a recent appearance at the Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap stage show in London, she let the audience know about her suicide attempt.
Sharon told the fans in attendance that she attempted suicide after she learned that her husband Ozzy had cheated on her. Sharon said that Ozzy always had groupies in his career, and she said she was used to that. She said that all changed when Ozzy got to know one so well that he knew their name, where they lived, and where they worked. She said he was emotionally invested in her. This led to the suicide attempt on Sharon’s part.
This was Ozzy’s affair with Michelle Pugh, which lasted from 2012 to 2016. This means the suicide attempt was within the last eight years. Sharon and Ozzy separated in 2016 but then reunited.
“I took, I don’t know how many pills,” Sharon admitted. “I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me” (via PEOPLE). Sharon survived the incident and moved on. However, she has also spoken about how many affairs Ozzy had over their marriage. She said there were six of them, including the “hairdresser.”
Ozzy has said he regrets cheating on Sharon Osbourne
In a past interview with British GQ, Ozzy said that he regrets ever cheating on Sharon. He said he has done “outrageous things” but he regrets cheating and said it would never happen again. He said he got a “reality check” and he was lucky she didn’t leave him. “I broke her heart,” he admitted.
No one knew how much it hurt Sharon until now. The fact that she attempted suicide shows what Ozzy’s cheating did to Sharon and her mental well-being. However, they appear to be in a better place now. They renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas in 2017. They also celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a “staycation” in Beverly Hills.
“We never gave up on each other,” Sharon said. She admitted she was never a saint, and neither was Ozzy. However, they were just “meant to be.”
