‘Price Is Right’ Drew Carey’s Blunder Gives Player Big Win

Drew Carey has really come into his own on The Price is Right. There have been two hosts on the show with Bob Barker and Carey, and both have been great at their job. However, in a recent episode, Drew was working with a contestant in the game, and Drew’s mistake helped the player win.
Here is what happened and how Drew was responsible for the person’s win.
Drew Carey Helped A Player Win On Price Is Right Via A Mistake
Drew Carey welcomed a woman named Lisa to the big stage and introduced her to the game “10 Chances.” In this game, a contestant has ten chances to guess the price of three prizes correctly. The first prize has a two-digit price, the second has three, and the third is a car.

The first prize gives the players three numbers, and they have to figure out which two are right. For the second prize, the player gets four numbers and has to figure out which three are right. They get all five numbers for the car and have to put them in the correct order. After the 10 guesses, the player wins whatever prizes they get right.
Drew explained the game to Lisa. The three prizes were a compass, appliances, and an SUV. The three numbers for the compass were 5, 0, and 4. She wrote down “40” and got it right.
Drew then opened the appliance box, and the numbers 4, 0, 7, and 5 were there. However, Drew tapped the board, and the numbers fell, revealing the answer of $540. Drew turned and looked out with a frustrated look on his face. As he stood and stared at the audience, Lisa quickly wrote “540” on the answer board (via TPIREPGUIDE).
The woman didn’t have to guess at all, and she still had eight guesses left to figure out the price of the SUV. The woman then added a smiley face below the numbers. Drew said, “I don’t know what happened. Nobody touched this (pointing at the button). I just pulled the card off, and it fell. So, you automatically get that. It was our mistake.” He then hit the button three times to make it ring.
How Did The Price Is Right Game End?
Lisa had eight guesses left to put the numbers in order to win the SUV. The five numbers were 3,6,0,5, and 2. Drew took the card off and tapped the numbers – and luckily it stayed up this time, and he told her to use all the numbers and figure out the price of the new car.
Lisa guessed on her first try the number “$36,520.” That was incorrect. Drew said that was the first mistake of the game before correcting himself and saying it was the “second” after his. On the second guess, she wrote “$35,620.” That was also wrong. It is a Chevy Trailblazer LP, and she guessed, “$26,530” on her third try, which was the correct answer.
