What Did Brandon Sklenar Reveal About 1923 Season 2?
Recently, at the Golden Globes, 1923 star Brandon Sklenar attended and spoke to Fox News about Season 2 of the Yellowstone spinoff. He revealed that they are going to start filming in a “couple of months.” But, he doesn’t have much information about the storyline.
After revealing that “They run a pretty tight ship over there in terms off like information,” and that he was waiting for “a couple of scripts for next season.” Then, they head off to start filming.
Sklenar Has Not Shared Screen With Ford, Mirren
Although Brandon Sklenar shared a table at the Golden Globes with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, he has not yet shared the screen. However, in Season 2 that should change.

Will There Be a Yellowstone: 1923 Season 3?
Does Taylor Sheridan plan on making 1923 Season 3? Currently, he does not. Originally, this series was 1932. This was going to take place during the Great Depression.
However, after the announcement, Sheridan changed the name and year of when the series would take place. Moreover, he also changed it from a one-season limited series Into a two-season series. This is what he needed to complete the story of this batch of Duttons.
Therefore, Paramount granted Sheridan another season of this special prequel.

When Does 1923 Premiere?
Lastly, Yellowstone: 1923 fans will want to know when the prequel spinoff returns. As they are not starting to film until March, at the earliest, it is hopeful that Paramount+ will premiere this series in the fall.
However, the network has already announced that Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 will premiere in November, with the new spinoff 2024 premiering after the OG has aired its last episode.
Therefore, it appears that one of two things will have to take place. Firstly, they could finish production quickly, and air the complete 1923 Season 2 before they air the final episodes of the original. The other option is that Paramount + will premiere this prequel-sequel after 2024 has completed the first season, which would be early in 2025.
Therefore, fans will have to keep an eye out for announcements on the premiere announcement once they complete production.
