‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Did Caleb Willingham Die Of Pneumonia?
Caleb Willingham of TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters passed away in July of last year. Fans, however, are just now getting a closer look at what happened prior to Caleb’s passing via new episodes of the TLC series. Despite being gone, Tammy Slaton’s husband didn’t pass before making the fandom fall in love with him.
News of Caleb Willingham’s death came as a shock to fans. There hadn’t been any reports of him being rushed to the hospital. Other than being overweight and having health issues associated it, fans were unaware of him struggling. So, one of the biggest questions fans ask is simple: What was Caleb Willingham’s cause of death?
Unfortunately, Tammy Slaton’s family was pretty elusive with the details surrounding his death when it happened. Mostly, they wanted privacy to grieve his passing.
Now that some time has passed, has his cause of death been revealed? More specifically, did he pass away because of pneumonia?

During a recent episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Caleb Willingham dropped a bombshell on both fans and Tammy. He was no longer in rehab. He was admitted to the hospital. His doctors believed he might have pneumonia.
To date, Caleb’s cause of death remains an elusive subject. So, this new information has fans thinking pneumonia may have been partly to blame for his sudden passing.
Fans Heartbroken For Tammy Slaton
Learning Caleb Willingham was in the hospital left fans heartbroken. They thought it was sweet Caleb didn’t clue Tammy in to how serious the situation was because he didn’t want to worry her. Fans, however, also hated that the couple never got a chance to be together outside of rehab.
There were some fans who thought Caleb was a stalker and didn’t care for how he followed Tammy to rehab. Most, however, thought he was a sweet guy. They watched as he brought out a sweet and loving side to Tammy. When she interacted with him during their time in rehab, she lit up in a way fans hadn’t seen before. These fans hated that Caleb and Tammy never got to experience that love on the outside together.
Tammy Slaton was working hard on her weight loss journey when her husband passed away. Sadly, she was working toward a future she never got to have with him. Ultimately, fans hope Tammy is able to find that love she had for Caleb with someone else one day.
