Kailyn Lowry Breaks Silence About Twins’ Birth, Gives Details
After months of masquerading as if she were still pregnant, Kailyn Lowry finally confirms giving birth to her twins. As fans know, it was back in November when multiple sources confirmed she had given birth to the twins. For the next two months, however, she proceeded to parade around social media as if she were still pregnant.

Kailyn Lowry Breaks Silence About Twins’ Birth
MTV’s Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry finally confirmed what everyone already knew. During a recent episode of her podcast called Barely Famous, she sat down with Elijah. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kailyn penned the twins were finally here in a caption. In the video on her Stories, she explained she and Elijah finally had the chance to sit down and share the birth story of their twins.
The reality TV star also dropped a teasing promo clip on her Instagram profile about her podcast. The clip featured her talking about getting a spinal before the c-section. She recalled being so uncomfortable because of how many people were in the room. According to Kailyn, it felt a little like filming an episode of Teen Mom.
When Did She Give Birth?
She gave birth at 35 weeks. This didn’t come as a total surprise as she knew there was a chance she’d give birth a few weeks early.
Initially, Kailyn canceled the scheduled C-section because she was not happy with the birth date her twins would end up with. She, however, knew she would have to reschedule because one of the twins was breached.
Ultimately, Kailyn ended up welcoming the twins into the world on November 19th. She admits she still wasn’t happy with the date as she would have preferred a “whole number.” The Teen Mom star admitted to asking the nurse to wait until after midnight so she could give birth on the 20th instead. Unfortunately, she did not get her wish.
Kailyn admits she was terrified by the idea of having a C-section. Furthermore, she added that no one in her circle told her how difficult having birth via C-section would be.
The birth of Kailyn Lowry’s twins was a surprise to no one. Some Teen Mom fans are a little frustrated that Kailyn laughed off finally getting around to telling people the birth story in her Instagram Stories update. Presently, she hasn’t addressed the fact that she spent two months after giving birth pretending to still be pregnant via social media.
