‘Live’ Why Kelly Ripa ‘Lives In Fear’ Over Simple Haircut
Kelly Ripa has a fear of haircuts and on Wednesday this week, the Live with Kelly and Mark host explained why. Usually, she wears her hair long, and the new intro for the show reveals her swirling it around a lot. Actually, if you check out her social media, there are very few photos of her with her locks cut short. Now that she explained the root of her fear, possibly millions of people can relate.
Live Kelly Ripa Bounces Back To Work
In the studio, Mark Consuelos and his wife are back to their amusing conversations after a sunny getaway during the hiatus. Of course, it’s cold near Central Park, so they talk about that quite a lot. Recently, before talking about haircuts, they discussed electric gloves that help to keep their hands warm. But, once inside the studio for Live with Kelly and Mark, they carry on with their banter in an often light-hearted way.
Kelly Ripa might keep her hair long throughout the winter because she doesn’t like the cold. However, other people are getting short haircuts, and she revealed some photos on the morning talk show. It came after she talked about how she’s not good at styling her own hair. Fortunately, at the studio, she doesn’t need to worry about that.
Live With Kelly And Mark – Hair Fear Origins
People reported that the conversation about hair arose when she spoke about having “something in common” with “Carol Brady.” On the morning talk show, Kelly said:
Yes, I want to get a haircut until I get the haircut….Because once I get the haircut ,then I have to maintain the haircut. And when your hair is this length, this is a good ponytail length. So, like, when I come to work, my hair is done for me and it looks nice.
Before she talked about the new “flippy bob … bixie cut” trend, Kelly Ripa explained that Mark Consuelos saw her after a haircut when she went for a bob, and she looked like “Carol Brady.” To this day, Mark can’t explain “how it happened.” Mark chipped his thoughts:
“I was like, ‘Wait, what happened, I saw Michelle Pfeiffer five minutes ago! Now it’s Carol Brady!’ So now when you ask me, I say, ‘Babe, do what you want to do. Just do what you want to do.'”
As far as Live Kelly‘s concerned, he doesn’t say that at all. In her opinion, what he really means is, “‘Do what you want to do, but just know that you’re going to be miserable as soon as you cut your hair off.’ That’s what you say. So that discourages me.”
