Kelly Ripa Leaks Husband Mark Consuelos’ Double Life On Live TV
Live fans were shocked this week when Kelly Ripa shared some dirt on her husband and cohost, Mark Consuelos.
The pair married in 1996 and currently live in New York. But even after all these years together, fans are occasionally reminded that Kelly and Mark once lived very different lives.
This week, Kelly thought it would be fun to bring up something from Mark’s past and share with the Live audience. Fans couldn’t believe their eyes!
Mark Consuelos’ secret past was revealed on Live
Kelly and Mark enjoy teasing each other now and then. But it seems like Kelly definitely got the best of her husband during the recent episode of Live.
Although Mark Consuelos is well-known for his acting roles and current gig as a cohost on Live, it seems that he once led a very different life. And Kelly Ripa was all too eager to expose his big secret on the air.
Kelly revealed that she was cleaning out her closet when she came across something interesting. Amid the clothes she was getting rid of, she came across a piece of Mark’s past.
“I found where you were a model on a romance novel book cover,” she informed her husband.
The talk show hostess gleefully presented a copy of Bronwyn Williams’ Halfway, which features Mark as a shirtless cover model. On the book cover, he lovingly looks down at the blonde female model in his arms.
The audience went wild over the dramatic reveal.
“Let me tell you about that photo,” Mark said. “We were in Puerto Rico and they had a photoshoot and a model there. They gave me a mullet.”
Kelly jumped in to add that it was all done in the days before Photoshop. Mark and the female model had to be photographed and then the paint came in later.
“That poor girl. She had to sit there all day. She was very nice,” Mark concluded.

Some fans still aren’t happy with the new setup
So far, Live fans have had mixed reactions to the show’s latest format. Some fans really enjoy seeing the chemistry Mark and Kelly share. However, many feel aggravated that the show is frequently taped in advance now. After all, that sort of defeats the purpose of calling the show Live with Kelly and Mark.
Both Kelly and Mark are busy people, but fans miss the fun and spontaneity of the live episodes. With any luck, producers will listen to fans and incorporate more live tapings in the upcoming weeks and months.
