Adam Huss Addresses ‘General Hospital’ Return
Adam Huss has returned to General Hospital to step into the role of Nikolas once more. And, he couldn’t be more excited about it.
As fans know, Nikolas is working overtime to mend damaged relationships. Furthermore, he’s also looking to get to know his baby boy, Ace.

Adam Huss Addresses General Hospital Return
Adam Huss officially returned to General Hospital earlier this month. As fans recall, this was the first time they’ve seen him on the show since September of last year. So, they were thrilled to experience him playing the role of Nikolas once more.

The actor recently sat down with Soap Opera Digest to address his return to General Hospital. He kicked off his interview by admitting he was “ecstatic” after he received a phone call asking him to return.
“I felt like it was going to happen; I trusted that, just from my interactions the last time I was there and how it felt, but you just don’t know [for sure]. I was grateful to be there and I didn’t want to ask too much; I wanted to just trust in the process in general.”
Adam Huss fessed up that “trusting the process” was largely how he lived life in general. He was a man who believed life happened exactly the way it was supposed to.
He continued: “But when I got the call from my manager, saying, ‘Hey, they wanna book you on these dates,’ my heart jumped. I just really resonate with Nikolas, and the more I get to step in his shoes, the more I feel him in my bones and in my body, the more I understand him.”

How Did He Step Into Nikolas’ Mindset Again?
For Adam, playing the role of Nikolas in General Hospital was easy. He felt so connected to the character. That, however, did not stop him from doing what he could to prepare for his return.
To step into the mindset of Nikolas once again, he re-watched scenes featuring Nikolas and Tyler Christopher. He added that he believed Tyler and Nikolas had a “beautiful dynamic.”
“I watched a lot of scenes between Tyler Christopher and Nicolas Bechtel. What a beautiful dynamic they had, especially in the scenes around the fire when Spencer got burned and Nikolas was at the hospital.”
Fans Were Thrilled For His Return
In the comments of his posts about General Hospital on Instagram, fans admit they were thrilled he was back. One fan noted they were “so happy” he was back and couldn’t wait to see what happened with his character on the show. Other fans added that he “killed it” in his return. They couldn’t wait to see more.
