‘Fire Country’ Season 2 Starts With Time Jump
The highly anticipated Fire Country Season 2 is premiering soon. Very little has been revealed until now. The first episode is called “Something’s Coming.” Furthermore, fans should expect a time jump. However, has anyone figured out Bode’s secret?
Here is the latest news on the CBS action drama.
Fire Country Season 2 Includes Time Jump
Now that the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes are over, Seal Team alum Max Thieriot’s show Fire Country is back. The Season 2, episode 1 is called “Something’s Coming.” According to Rotten Tomatoes, “Bode is back in prison, where he receives some shocking news. The crew responds to a massive earthquake that rocks Edgewater to its core.”
However, there is more for fans to anticipate. According to a sneak peek exclusive with US Magazine, there is a six-month time jump. In this exclusive, Bode tells his dad, “We had a deal. You get to visit, no one else.” Vince is not alone.
However, Manny takes the phone from Vince. As Bode’s former Three Rock captain, he is not one to mince words. “Bode, you make a confession that you and I both know is false, and you rot in here for six months without explaining it. Why? You’re in here doing time for drugs you didn’t even do man.”
Bode is not going to change his story anytime soon. “Doesn’t matter what I did or didn’t do. I’m where I belong now.”
Now, Manny and Vince may want to get to the bottom of what Bode is hiding. But, it looks like the crew will be sidelined with a crisis first. That earthquake is going to create quite a distraction. Also, what “shocking news” will Bode hear?
When Will CBS Premiere Fire Country Season 2
The premiere of Fire Country Season 2 is on Friday, February 16, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on CBS.
Season 2 Has A New Addition
Could Bode realize that his false admission will hurt his heart? It certainly sounds like it as Fire Country Season 2 has added Rafael de la Fuente. The Dynasty alum is portraying Diego. Diego previously served in Afghanistan, he is now a firefighter and paramedic. What could make Bode regret his action is that Diego is charming, and he is spending a lot of time with Gabriela.
Gabriela is trying to get certified as a paramedic. What better person to train her than this motivated and fun vet? Could this turn of events make Bode talk?
