‘On Patrol: Live’ Dan Abrams Busted Lying To Viewers
On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams was busted for lying to viewers on Friday night. One viewer caught the TV personality in the middle of an obvious lie and took to Reddit to call him on it. Other fans of the Reelz series chimed in with their thoughts on all of it.
What exactly did Dan Abrams lie to fans about? Keep reading for the details.
On Patrol: Live Dan Abrams Busted Lying To Viewers
Turns out, Dan Abrams was featured on television in two different places on Friday night. At the same time, he claimed to be live for On Patrol: Live on Reelz. He also claimed to be live with News Nation as well. The OP of the thread on Reddit noted the TV personality was claiming to be live in both places at the same time. So, they wondered what was true. Moreover, they grew concerned On Patrol: Live wasn’t the live broadcast fans thought it was.
Fortunately, other viewers were pretty quick to clarify what was true and what was the lie. On Patrol: Live did air live on Friday and Saturday nights on Reelz.
So, Dan Abrams was appearing live with the Reelz series. Sadly, this did mean he was lying to fans about appearing live on News Nation. Several other fans chimed in to echo that News Nation was pre-recorded. So, On Patrol: Live fans didn’t need to worry.
Out of amusement, one fan had a pretty funny image of Dan running between the two studios to do both of them live.
The Reelz Series Being Live Is Everything For Fans
Understandably, the fan panicked because On Patrol airing live is one of the biggest appeals of the show. If On Patrol: Live was a pre-recorded series, fans would also have to worry about it being staged or scripted.
Shows like Parking Wars and Wreck Chasers, for example, tend to draw the same kind of audience. They, however, are made less enjoyable by being pre-recorded. Sadly, cast members have come forward to admit that shows like these are based on reality. They, however, are exaggerated with scripts to be more entertaining for the sake of views.
