Who Could Replace Him?
In a new thread on Reddit, one fan wanted to open the floor for discussion on who could potentially do Sticks’ job better than he could.
I think OPL would make a huge mistake by continuing to push Sticks as the second “co-host” and use his picture in promotional material next season (whenever that is). SO they need to find a new co-host.
I really loved the co-host from the last two episodes. I forget his name, but he was well-spoken and seemed very smart. And also included Curtis in every conversation. He would be my pick!
Who is your pick?

In response to the thread, there were a few different names tossed into the hat:
- Tom Rizzo
- Kory Flowers
- Ritchie Maher
Overall, the majority seemed to agree that Tom Rizzo is the ideal choice. Per Live PD’s website, Captain Tom Rizzo has been with the franchise for a while. He used to be an officer out of New Jersey. He, however, now has a career as an author, speaker, and instructor. Given his professional career shift, it comes as no surprise he’s so well-spoken on the show. Fans note that he also regularly engages with everyone in On Patrol: Live groups on Facebook.

Unfortunately, many on Reddit noted “the wall” or “literally anyone else” would be a better choice of host over Sticks.
So, do you think Sergeant Sean “Sticks” Larkin will stick around for future seasons of On Patrol: Live? Or, do you agree with fans who think keeping him around is a mistake? I like Stick as he was one of the first commentators on a police style show. He’s straight forward and has a great sense of humour.
Sticks helped make that show. Abrams couldn’t keep funds interested by himself. Sticks provided that experience, and ladies thought he was handsome beings he wasn’t married any longer. They need him and Tom both back. I like Curtis alot but sounds like he might not be coming back. maybe the pay isn’t great. Sounded like it was if Sgt Sticks gave up his job in Tulsa to move out closer to do the show every Fri/Sat night. Then you’re out of a job after a year or 2. That would suck. Abrams needs to let us all know the scoop…
Anybody but Sticks. Rizzo is far smarter and more joyful
Absolutely love the camaraderie betweeen Dan, Curtis, and Tom, they keep the show interesting.
