Truely & Christine Brown Never Lived With A Man Full-Time Until David
Truely Brown wasn’t left out of the wedding footage in the Sister Wives special for her mom Christine when she married David Woolley, and one scene revealed a special bond. The youngest in the family before Solomon and Ariella Mae arrived, Kody Brown’s daughter was always special in the family and with TLC fans. That’s because she so nearly lost her life at the age of three. Fortunately, she survived and lived to see her mom find a man who really loves her.
Truely Brown Nearly Died Very Young
The bond between Christine and her youngest child is strong, but it grew stronger over the years. In March 2022, Kody’s former third wife took her fans on a trip down memory lane and recalled the scary near-death of her child. At the time, she remembered how when her child was on dialysis, she didn’t know if she would see her baby alive the next day. Initially, what started as flu ended up as dehydration and her kidneys started to shut down.
Truely Brown grew up to be a feisty youngster with a love for reading and acting. Additionally, TLC fans respected her because she told Kody Brown where her boundaries were. That came when he pushed her too far while riding a bike. In the past, fans noted that she wouldn’t high-five her dad, or let him hug her if she felt discomforted in his presence. Well, her mom also let Kody know he pushed her boundaries too far and now neither of them live with him. So, that is one more bond between mother and daughter.

Christine Brown Marries David Woolley – More Bonding
A recent teaser for the 2 Part Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding special revealed her sisters speaking to Truely. Mykelti said that she already accepted David as “a stepfather.” Then, Christine said in her confessional that she and her youngest discussed moving into the same house as David. At first, she said she wasn’t really worried about it until her mom said that she felt a bit nervous. After all, living in a home with a man permanently there was a big change for her as well. Then the teen agreed that she was “a lot” nervous.”
On Reddit, an OP who watched the Sister Wives wedding preview noticed how Truely Brown and her mom never had a normal family life.
Sneak peek, how very Gilmore girls. The girls talk about how this is the first time Christine and Truley have lived with a man full time and I was like, holy cow that’s true… It reminded me of… GG the night before Lorelei was supposed to marry Max and she and Rory have a similar conversation. Wild man, wild.
In the discussion, TLC fans agreed that Meri had lived with Kody Brown permanently until Janelle joined the family, and Janelle had lived monogamously with a man before that. So, only Christine had never experienced that. Plus, for Truely Brown, it would be the first time that she ever had a father figure in her life every day.
What are your thoughts about Truely Brown and her mom Christine bonding over the fact that neither of them ever lived with a man permanently in their home? Do you think that it’s a good thing that they do that now? Let us know in the comments below, and come back here for all your Sister Wives news.
