It has been a mess since Anna Cardwell passed away and Mama June became the caretaker of Kaitlyn. She is the eldest of Anna’s two daughters and has been in June’s custody. Sadly, her sister, Kylee, went to live with her father, Michael Cardwell. The ultimate goal, at least for Michael, is to get custody of both of the girls, even if Kaitlyn is not his biological child. Fans support this after seeing the chaos in the homes she is staying in and the way that the family treats her. Now, there is talk of getting Kaitlyn a pet but clearly, they have no idea how to raise one in the slightest.
A Reddit thread was started to address June’s husband, Justin Stroud sharing that they wanted to get a cat. The OP shared this:
- Talking about getting or not getting a cat for Anna’s daughter. He just said you can an have a cat and it live outside and you don’t even have to feed it. It will find its own food. Please I hope no one lets him adopt a cat. He will abuse it. I’m sorry for Anna’s daughter but I would hate to see an animal get abused.
Anyone who has watched their livestreams has seen how negligent the whole family is with children. One of Pumpkin’s babies was climbing out of its highchair right behind Maam June. Yet, she was so engrossed in her video, she was unaware. Should they have a pet? This is what fellow Redditors had to say:

Followers were annoyed that any judge would give Mama June custody of Kaitlyn after seeing this behavior. They also noted how Justin Stroud did not seem to like Kaitlyn touching him whatsoever which is sad because she just wants love. Finally, one Redditor pointed out that the video had turned to new veneers for June. This is after they were begging for gifts to ensure Kylee and Kaitlyn had an amazing holiday. Moreover, they set up an Amazon Wishlist which clearly was for the whole family. So, it seems that they are completely unaware of wrong from right.

Last thing they should get is a cat. Yes, you DO have to feed it. He’s nutz to think you don’t. They are also more prone to fights and injuries living outside.
Just from everything I have seen and read they don’t need any pets and definitely don’t need children. Anna daughter should go to Michael and be with her sister and be raised out of the cameras like Anna tried to do to begin with. That family is all about living off orher people its ridiculous.
