‘DWTS’ Star Arrested On Multiple Charges
A DWTS star has been arrested on multiple charges. This is not the first show scandal as pro, Artem Chigvintsev, had his own legal problems with his now ex-wife, Nikki Garcia. So, who is in hot water, and what exactly went down? Keep reading for further details.
DWTS Star Arrested On Multiple Charges
Over the last few years, DWTS has had a lot of problems with dancers. Gleb Savchenko made inappropriate remarks regarding the type of celebrity he wanted as his partner. He felt he always had older women, and outwardly stated he was hoping for someone young and hot. Of course, he went into damage control after saying this, given that he was somewhat of a fan favorite. Then, as aforementioned, Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. This did not bode well for his career and reputation, but the charges were dropped. He and his wife, Nikki Garcia, have since divorced.
Now, news has broken that Season 14 contestant William Levy has been arrested. He danced with Cheryl Burke in 2012, and they made it to the finals. Unfortunately, he is not doing any happy dances as he was arrested on Monday, April 14th, 2025, for public intoxication and trespassing. Aside from DWTS, the forty-four-year-old is known for his roles in The Single Moms Club and Single Ladies. He was also the male lead in Jennifer Lopez’s “I’m Into You” music video. In his mugshot, his brown hair was parted to the side while he donned gray stubble.

The arrest happened in Florida, where he was still as of Tuesday, April 15th. William was in a twenty-year relationship with Elizabeth Gutiérrez, with whom he shares two teenagers. As of 2024, she had this to say about the ending of their romance:
“I loved William, I think it’s no secret that he was the love of my life. Currently, we are not together. On my part, it was never for lack of love, I just think I’m not the same girl I was 20 years ago that he met.”
The Downfall
After DWTS fans saw that William Levy had been arrested, there was a bevy of emotions. It is unclear if this was a result of his broken relationship or something else. Some who saw him had no idea who he was or what he was famous for. Others recalled his leaked nude photos from his time on the reality dancing competition. Then, there were those who were shocked at his physical and emotional downfall:

At this point, his charges are pending, and he is awaiting trial. Hopefully, he has learned his lesson and will get his act together.
