Over the New Year holiday weekend, Kevin Costner was sending major John Dutton vibes. According to The Daily Mail, he was seen walking with friends in Aspen. The award-winning actor was wearing a black turtleneck, black overcoat, and a grey scarf with a couple of black stripes casually around his neck. He had his hands tucked into his light blue bootcut jeans and wore tan cowboy boots. Most of all, Costner looked like a rock star with his Ray Bans, and black cowboy hat.
Costner seemed relaxed and looked fantastic. He was smiling as he walked alongside his pals in the luxe town that the rich and famous visit during this magical holiday season. Unfortunately, 2023 has been a tough year for the Field Of Dreams star. Firstly, he is out at Yellowstone as John Dutton. There has been chaos on the set, and it looks like Costner is the odd man out.
Next, just eight months ago, he was blindsided by his then-wife Christine Baumgartner filing for divorce. After enduring four months of his headline-grabbing messy Hollywood divorce, he is a single man. However, it looks like he is dating singer, actress, and philanthropist Jewel. But, she was not in this Aspen group of friends.
But, she was not that far away.
Jewel Performed In Colorado Over The New Year’s Weekend
Just around the same time, Jewel was performing in Telluride, Colorado, not that far away. She performed at the Sheridan Opera House for the Foundation Reserve, a Wine & Social Club. This is a group of change-makers who want to bring awareness to mental health issues.
Does this mean that Kevin and his alleged new flame spent New Year’s Eve together? There is nothing confirmed. They were certainly in close enough proximity to each other.
Neither Kevin nor Jewel have confirmed their relationship. However, photos from a November event at Sir Richard Branson’s Neckar Island show Kevin Costner with his arms around Jewel’s waist. In addition, rumor has it that Sir Richard was the matchmaker.

Is Kevin Costner Playing John Dutton In Final Yellowstone Episodes?
While Kevin Costner looked like Yellowstone patriarch John Dutton in Aspen, fans of the Paramount series may wonder whether he could still return to play Dutton one last time. Filming does not start until the spring. This could change. While Kevin is currently out, creator Taylor Sheridan, who handpicked Kevin for this role, may work to find a way to make it happen. He certainly wants his popular series to end on a high note.
