‘Golden Bachelor’ Theresa Nist Had Serious Financial Problems
Golden Bachelor fans and family urge Theresa Nist to get a prenup to protect her cash and assets, and with good reason, as she once faced severe financial difficulty. The financial services professional seems to be in a good place now. And so is her fiance, Gerry Turner. However, it wasn’t always like that. Read on to find out what happened.
Theresa Nist Has A Good Net Worth Now
Bill, who was married to his wife for 42 years was a stockbroker And, while they can make money, they can also lose it. It’s not clear why the couple experienced problems financially, but at least she is okay now. Gerry Turner’s wife-to-be is now reportedly worth between $500,000 and $1 million.
Theresa Nist probably won’t face the same financial problems with Gerry Turner from The Golden Bachelor that she had with Billy. He has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. The problems that the grandmother experienced came along when her daughter, Jen Woolston was just six years old. So, that was a long time ago now.
Golden Bachelor Winner Had Financial Problems
The news that the ABC star struggled with fiances arrived via The Sun who did a deep dive into her past. According to the outlet, “The couple filed for bankruptcy in 1991 and lost their home a year later.” Additionally, “The Chapter 7 bankruptcy was assigned to the New Jersey bankruptcy courts in February 1991, which was discharged four months later, official records show.”
Theresa Nist and her late husband went through more problems. The mortgage company took the new ABC star to court, and unfortunately, they “lost their home in Cranford, New Jersey,” according to the report. However, they didn’t just give up and managed to get back up again.
Theresa Nist Got Back Up Again
In 1999, the couple bought another home and flipped it off for a profit. By doing that with several properties, they were able to get back on their feet. These days she lives in a $568k home in New Jersey. She has owned it since 2009, but ABC fans are not sure if she will sell it after she marries Gerry Turner. Recently, ABC fans heard that the couple might relocate to North Carolina where her son lives. Hopefully, in their golden years, the couple won’t ever face the hardships of yesteryear.
