Emotional Theresa Nist Cried For ‘Golden Bachelor’ Contestants
Theresa Nist seems blissfully happy ahead of her January wedding to Gerry Turner, but the Golden Bachelor came with some emotional moments and she admitted that she cried when watching the show. She also saw some awkward moments. Recall, some of the drama made people suspect fakery. Remember Faith Martin’s getting left hanging while Gerry went off in a dramatic tantrum? Some people think he faked the drama.
Theresa Nist Had Her Own Awkward Moment
The most awkward moment that made fans cry was when Turner drew out letting his winner know he chose her. In the Fantasy Suite, Gerry told his wife-to-be that he decided he would choose her to be his wife. Remember, he seemed set on Leslie Fhima, but he told her rival “What a difference 24 hours makes.” As he said much the same thing to Leslie, she broke down with humiliation and pain. Theresa hadn’t yet watched that episode. But she did cry for her fellow contestant when she got sent home.
Theresa Nist survived her awkward moment when the time came for her lover to propose or send her home. When it happened, she cringed with embarrassment, and so did the entire audience. Recall he said:
You’re not the right person for me to live with.
After a long and awkward pause, while Theresa Nist’s world collapsed around her, he added, “You’re the person I can’t live without,” That made fans cry and grow tearful on her behalf. Chatting on Live with Kelly and Mark, the Golden Bachelor admitted that it wasn’t his idea. Per a reminder by The Sun, he claimed:
[Producers] suggested it would be really great TV. They didn’t realize it would be horrible to Theresa.

Emotional Gerry Turner’s Winner Cried For Other Contestants
When Kelly Ripa interviewed the couple, Theresa Nist had not yet watched the finale. However, she watched Faith Martin get sent home. Watching scenes like that made her feel very sad and the tears flowed. She told Kelly that she “struggled to watch Faith Martin cry as she was eliminated from the show.”
Theresa Nist also cried when she saw the other contestants being sent home. Wait until she sees Leslie’s finale heartbreak! Will she have second thoughts about her wedding? Many Golden Bachelor viewers think that she really should reconsider tying the knot. Lots of them agree with Leslie Fhima that Gerry Turner has no “integrity.”
