‘Sister Wives’ Emotional Preview: Robyn Brown Goes Off Rails
During a clip for the upcoming Sister Wives: Look Back special, the Browns revisit moments from the past that came at a much happier point in their family history. Undoubtedly, the reactions are bittersweet to one replay in particular. While the former Sister Wives view the clip, they each respond in different ways. But the last standing wife of Kody Brown, Robyn, flies off the rails in an emotional outburst. Then, reactively stating she is unwilling to participate any further, she storms off the stage.
Sister Wives: Look Back Special
During a sneak peek of the upcoming Sister Wives: Look Back special, Kody, Janelle, Meri, Christine, and Robyn reflect on their experience. While watching a replay of the Browns’ 2013 commitment celebration each wife has a unique response to the memory. In the clip, Kody is shown leading the family in a ceremony to strengthen their bonds of commitment with one another. Notably, in the segment, Christine pours out her feelings of pride and accomplishment for the family coming so far together.
Then in the past video, Janelle says she will “teach, allow and promote the value of making conscious and responsible choices.” Additionally, Robyn pledges the family will “embrace one another with a covenant of eternal nature.” And Christine confronts a part of herself, saying she “decided every day, am I going to be a good sister wife today or a bad sister wife today.” But as the video wraps up, Meri Brown growls that she is “so mad at us, every single one of us.”
Sister Wives Stars Continue To Reflect
Additionally, Meri Brown reflects on the beautiful moment in time saying, “We failed ourselves.” Although Christine has been focused on her spite for Kody lately, she was able to remember just how special this commitment ceremony was. Even so, Kody was beside himself revisiting this occasion. He says, “I felt like I was so inspired. We just failed to abide by it.” Continuing he adds, “I guess there just wasn’t enough loyalty in the family.” And Meri in a heartfelt manner says, “What is it that they say, your mission should you choose to accept it? We didn’t choose to accept it. It’s heartbreaking to me.”

Robyn Brown Has A Meltdown
But Sister Wives, Kody Brown’s present wife, Robyn, becomes emotionally reactive as she implodes and is overcome by bombarded feelings. Although other wives captured the spirit of the memory and even smiled, Robyn immediately becomes hysterical when the clip starts. Then triggered by the scene, she anxiously shook her head back and forth and scrambled to flee the set. Seemingly, overwhelmed by the emotions of what “could have been” or “should have been,” she goes off the rails into a meltdown. Repeatedly, she says, “I can’t watch this!” Following her initial panic, she starts moving, covering her head to shield herself from the camera. Then she pulls her microphone off and storms off stage saying, “I need a break!”
