Robyn has had multiple claims against her ex-husband, David. Most of them are negative and disturbing. One of them was the “real fights” she experienced with him, suggesting that the two had physical altercations. In a Sister Wives episode she claimed to the whole Brown family that her ex husband stole her purity making it seem he forced himself on her without consent.
The Sister Wives star also accused David of being an abusive husband and bad father. But some fans find it hard to believe, especially after many began to notice her manipulative behavior during the show.
Robyn Twisted Her Divorce Story?
During Season 17, Robyn asserted that she had to go through the church to proceed with her divorce from David. But a relative of Jessop claimed that there were some misinterpretations about the story. According to them, the pregnant Sister Wives star refused to have a temple wedding when she married David.
Due to this, the church had no authority over their union. Furthermore, his family claimed that Robyn never wanted David to have another wife and that she had no interest in plural marriage. They encouraged him to file for divorce himself, which contradicts Robyn’s claims about her decision to divorce David.

Aside from her accusations, it was also reported that Robyn left David in debt. The Sister Wives star previously claimed on the show that she took on the debt to get out of the marriage. However, she was accused of using her sister wives to pay for it. The source said David had no clue of their debt until he went to finance a home for them and the bank revealed it all. It was also revealed that David Jessop borrowed 30K from his parents to pay off her debt, but Robyn spent it all and never paid off the debt. Allegedly that was the final straw for Jessop and he filed for divorce. But despite that, she still blamed her ex-husband for their debt. This also puts into question if Kody ever vetted Robyn like he claims.
David Jessop is presently fighting cancer. He has a fundraiser set up by his sister-in-law. There are also reports that Robyn never told her children that their biological dad has been fighting a deadly illness.
