‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Shares Struggles That Brought Her To Tears
Both Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been trying to keep up with the holiday spirit. Unquestionably, both the Live With Kelly And Mark hosts maintain high energy throughout the show. But, everyone has times that just aren’t as chipper. Recently, Kelly opened her home and shared a moment with the world that includes a vulnerable side of her. Admittedly, she gave a peek at one struggle she already faced that had a few tears involved.
Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Welcome The Holiday Season
On December 14, Live With Kelly And Mark host, Kelly Ripa, gave adoring fans a glimpse into her beautifully decorated home on her Instagram page. Notably, she offered seasons greetings and relatably showed how things don’t always go as planned. While the entire family wasn’t involved, some of the key players were. Next to a tall, evenly fluffed Christmas tree was Mark Consuelos and two other family members, Lena and Chewie. Notably, Lena and Chewie are the couple’s two pups. In an earlier post, Kelly captioned the picture of the tree saying: “She’s dressed to impress 🎄#ChristmasTree.” Then she shared her holiday tree with many blue and red accents.
Kelly Ripa Takes On A Holiday Struggle
But the adventure came with the good intent to showcase the Christmassy scene with the fuzzy family members. In an attempt to spruce up the holiday season, Kelly Ripa spurred a spontaneous photo shoot with Mark Consuelos and the dogs. Although Mark was posed in a red Christmas sweater, the furry friends didn’t get the memo to cooperate. Multiple photos show Mark holding the dogs close and the little rascals running amuck through the picture carousel. Undoubtedly, the little cuties weren’t as interested in collaborating as Kelly and Mark had hoped.
But in the end, she still had adorable photos that captured the moment in time. Within the collection on Instagram, Kelly captions: “Happy Holidays ya filthy animals! 🎄Scenes from my attempted doggie photoshoot. We laughed. We cried. They peed.#chewie #lena.” And although a few tears were shed, the struggle seemed worth it for the holiday joy.

- One fan supportively says, “It was better than Cats….” But it confuses many as it was a reference to a commercial. However, someone else explains, “Just google the line! I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats! As in the Broadway play.”
- Someone else says, “Oh no…they really peed 😂.”
- Another person either really loves Kelly and Mark or Lena and Chewie or maybe all, “I LOVE THEM SO MUCH omg.”
