Is Jack Wagner Returning To His Frisco Jones ‘GH’ Role?

Why Do General Hospital Fans Think Frisco Jones Is Coming Back?
Is Jack Wagner about to reprise his role as Frisco Jones? General Hospital fans seem to think so. There has been a lot of buzz since Tuesday’s episode. That is because WSB director Brennan (Charles Mesure) was taken down by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). She looked right at this bad guy and said, “You think they’ll invite Frisco back to clean up your mess?”
The last time the secret agent was in Port Charles was in 2013. He returned with a purpose. He wanted Felicia back. Frisco made a grand gesture and proposed. However, she chose to stay with Mac (John J. York), and he wound up with a broken heart.
No matter how much Maxie (Kirsten Storms) pleaded with her father to stay in town, Frisco chose to leave and be a lone wolf once again. Then, in 2014, the next mention of Frisco Jones was that he was now the head of the WSB.
Could Jack Wagner return to GH and reprise his spy role and unravel the current mess that the WSB is in? Anything seems possible. But, does the busy actor have time to return to the ABC soap?
Jack Wagner Now Starring In When Calls The Heart
Since 2014, Jack Wagner has been starring in the Hallmark series When Calls The Heart. In this Canadian pioneer series, he portrays Bill Avery. Bill is a forensic investigator, mountie inspector lawman, judge, major property owner, and spy. This talented actor just cannot stay away from super spy roles. Moreover, he seems to share a lot of BTS photos on his Instagram.
When Calls The Heart Season 11 was given a special waiver from SAG-AFTRA to film during the strike. Therefore, they started filming in July and just finished filming the 12-episode season before Thanksgiving. That means Jack has plenty of time to return to his Frisco role and investigate what is happening at the WSB with Anna and Scorpio.
In addition to WCTH, Wagner has made six Wedding March movies for the Hallmark Channel, as well as starring in last year’s Christmas movie A Big Fat Family Christmas.
