The CW Has Picked Up The Hallmark-Like Series Sullivan’s Crossing

Because of all the strikes, The CW has chosen to pick up shows to air like Ride to fill in their schedule. Firstly, they picked up the Canadian series Sullivan’s Crossing. This stars When Hope Calls alum Morgan Kohan, One Tree Hill heartthrob Chad Michael Murray, and Gilmore Girls alum Scott Patterson. Although one season had aired in Canada, The CW chose to renew the series months before they aired a single episode.

Sullivan’s Crossing is from the Robyn Carr novels of the same name. Carr is famous for her novels that inspired the Netflix series Virgin River. This overlaps with the Hallmark audience.

Their other series that is still pending is Spencer Sisters. This mystery series stars Stacey Farber and Lea Thompson as a mother-and-daughter team of sleuths. Hallmark fans will recognize these leads, as well as a lot of the supporting actors that are in these movies.

However, The CW has not decided on the future of this sleuthing series. Now, the question is whether Ride will have the same fate as Sullivan’s Crossing, or Spencer Sisters.

Ride fans, would you like The CW to pick up Season 2 of this western series?
