Kathy Swarts Has Young Gentleman Callers Sliding Into Her DMs
Undeniably, The Golden Bachelor contestant, Kathy Swarts, proved she is a pistol. During the show, she was a sharpshooter and wasn’t going to let anyone get in the way of her prize, Gerry Turner. However, her game ended sooner than expected and Theresa Nist walked away with the grand prize instead. But now, Kathy seems to be quite pleased with the consultation prize. Since appearing on the show, several gentlemen suitors have slid into her DMs. And she had quite a bit to say about a few of them that impressed her.
Becoming The Villain
Undoubtedly, Kathy Swarts made her mark on The Golden Bachelor. While she was feisty and blunt, her true fame came from being villainized for confronting Theresa Nist. But Kathy was seemingly sensitive at heart and defensively brash trying not to get hurt in her pursuit of Gerry Turner. When she accused Theresa of bragging she said, “I feel like you’re dismissing me, like, ‘He and I are going off into the sunset. Go pack because you’re going home.’” At which point Kathy told her costar, “That’s how you’ve made me feel sometimes.” Understandably, Theresa wasn’t intending to hurt her new friend and broke down in tears.
But Kathy’s kill shot was when she continued to reiterate her point. She continues, “When you say things like, ‘[We] have a huge connection,’ I think that’s the kind of stuff that sounds possessive, territorial, and [like], ‘Get the hell out of my way, he’s mine.’” And not truly thinking about how she was in turn speaking to Theresa she adds, “That’s not a pretty picture, Theresa.” Additionally, she is famous for her rude reminders to Theresa to “zip it.” Theresa later reflected on the interactions on her Instagram page. And Kathy left at the end of the fourth episode to begin her new journey in life after The Golden Bachelor.

Kathy Swarts Is Moving On
On Monday, December 18, Kathy Swarts, 70, had an appearance on Jana Kramer’s Whine Down podcast. During their discussion, Kathy talked about her prospective dating since leaving The Golden Bachelor. In jest, Kathy reveals she had four mentionable encounters, one being a very young man reaching out. She relays, “I’ve had four, and one was a 32-year-old, very good-looking dude. And I did have to point out to him that I have children older than he is.” Continuing, she also says, “Then I had a 40-year-old baseball player, same note as the first guy. And then I had a daughter reach out on behalf of her dad.”
Kathy Swarts Is Loving The Flattering
Although Kathy Swarts pleasantly enjoyed the daughter’s matchmaking efforts, she noted that the dad never reached out on his own. Additionally. Kathy discussed another flattering encounter. Another gentleman in his late 50s contacted a mutual friend of hers with a gracious compliment. Relaying the story she says, “He said, ‘She’s so pretty, she might be too young for me.’” But jokingly Kathy says she will hold on to that and use it as a pickup line someday, “You’re too young for me, but, OK, let’s try it.” But for now, Kathy is enjoying her newfound single freedoms. And who knows, maybe Kathy will add the title of “Golden Bachelorette” to her dating resume.
