Ariana Madix Shares Lala Friendship Update Post-Trailer Blowup

Ariana Madix Shares Lala Friendship Update Post-Trailer Blowup
The trailer for Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has just dropped and fans are ready for it. Although viewers will have to wait until January 30th for the premiere, there is a lot to digest. One of the more controversial moments came at the very end. Lala Kent is seen in a gold dress, declaring of Ariana Madix: “I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly becomes God!” Then, Madix appears, standing on a speaker, as if she is on top of the world. Immediately, that led fans to believe Kent had an issue with Ariana’s success after Tom Sandoval had an affair with Rachel Leviss.
After Season 9, Kent revealed that her then-fiance, Randall Emmett had cheated on her and they had parted ways. More so, she was not asked to be on DWTS or be in numerous commercials. So, it was questioned if that was why she was so bitter. However, according to Us Weekly, what was seen may not have been completely accurate. First off, Lala did an Amazon Live and she was not upset that fans were talking about this scene. Admittedly, the scene has been skewed for entertainment purposes but the chatter is beneficial:
“That’s what the trailer is meant to do. It riled everyone up, everyone is talking about the trailer, everyone is giving their feedback, people are arguing in the comments section — that’s what we want. The second no one has an opinion on the television we’re making, we no longer have a show.”
This may be true but what did Ariana Madix have to say about it? Did she feel the same or was she hurt after seeing what Lala said about her? They seem to have a very stable friendship per Ariana: “But she’s been honestly very kind and supportive even since filming and I love her a lot a lot.”
Turning Down Production
There may be some context to what Lala Kent said about Ariana Madix being “God.” Apparently, Ariana explained that the cast can turn down production requests and that goes for anyone. This is regarding the fact that Ariana refused to speak with Tom Sandoval at one point. Yet, any of her co-stars could have said “no” to the same thing if they really did not want to. So, the “God” comment may have come from her opting to set boundaries during the filming of Season 11.
