Robyn Brown from Sister Wives was previously married to David Preston Jessop and they had three kids, David, Aurora, and Breanna. Unfortunately, their biological dad suffers from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. After a fundraiser was set up by his sister-in-law, Stacey, a recent update revealed what was happening with him and the various treatment options.

It was the Backwoods Barbie account on YouTube that first reported about the illness that David Preston Jessop suffered from. Additionally, TLC viewers found out the link to the fundraiser. Because fans care about the kids some of them went and donated. So, by July this year, nearly $5,00 went in. After all, it is not like he seems wealthy, judging by the debt that Robyn brought when she joined the Brown family.

After Robyn Brown divorced David Jessop, she met and married Kody Brown and he adopted her children. At the time, her son had his name legally changed to David Dayton Brown. Notably, he shouldn’t be confused with his biological father. TLC fans like him, and he did very well at university. That’s despite allegedly battling with Asperger’s Syndrome. So, Sister  Wives fans applauded that.

Sister Wives fans hope that Jessop has his oldest son with him as he fights his cancer. However, it seems to just be speculation because since he graduated, very little news arrived. In November, an update arrived and it became clear that the chemo pills that Robyn’s ex was taking didn’t sit well with him. Although he still worked, he struggled. So, he tried a more natural approach to treatment. Did that work?

Unfortunately. the ex of Robyn Brown didn’t manage to overcome his cancer by going with the holistic approach. So, he’s back on his chemo pills. The GoFundMe update reads:

It’s been awhile since I’ve given an update on Preston but a lot has happened since. His numbers reached a dangerous point that we had to go the medicinal route and go back to the chemo pill. His numbers since have improved greatly but has also come with a lot of side effects which make things rough on his body.

Once again, it’s thanks to Backwoods Barbie that the fundraiser inched up to $6,614 raised. Some recent donors credited the YouTube influencer for sending them to the donation page. Additionally, the fundraiser to help with proper nutrition and supplements was boosted by a post on Reddit.  There, TLC fans seem to feel that Robyn Brown’s former husband should have stayed with the chemo pills. So, most of them are glad that he’s back on proper medical treatment.
