Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Home For Anna’s Passing?
It has been a struggle for the family as Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson opted to go to Regis University. This school specializes in what she wants for her future plus she received an amazing scholarship. Yet, as seen in the Family Crisis finale, it is located in Colorado. This broke the hearts of Mama June and Alana’s sister, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird. They could not fathom her being so far away. Then, when she left with her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, Pumpkin was visibly shaken up. Just a short time ago, Alana’s oldest sister, Anna Cardwell, and her family took their final trip together.
She was battling stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and wanted to go to Gatlinburg. Unfortunately, Alana could not join them as she had school obligations. Then, things took a turn and Anna’s family was asking for prayers all over different social media forums. It appeared that Anna was transitioning from Earth but would Alana make it home to be by her side? The answer was yes. She was there as Anna took her last breath late at night on December 9th. In fact, she and Pumpkin were ready to do whatever Anna wanted as her final request.

According to Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s Instagram, she shared a family photo of all of the sisters, Mama June, and June’s husband, Justin Stroud. In the caption, Alana detailed what Anna’s final moments were like. She explained they were all together and told her it was fine for her to go as she was in so much pain. At this point, Alana is at a loss as she is struggling to comprehend losing her big sister. She further pointed out how she was grateful Anna waited until she returned home.
Missing Moments
Of course, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is having a hard time with the fact that Anna Cardwell will not be there when she graduates. However, she knows she will always be watching over her. The one reassurance that Alana does have is that Anna is no longer in pain but pointed out that she is still a fighter, no matter what. Plus, she will keep her sister’s legacy forever alive.
