‘MBFFL’ Fans Think Glenn Thore Deserves A Paternity Test
Should Glenn Thore seek a paternity test when it comes to his other daughter, Angie?
That’s something that many My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans have wondered since Angie and her own family met the Thores. It’s always great to have new family members around, but some fans just aren’t quite convinced that this storyline is legitimate.
In fact, some think a paternity test would clear the air quickly. Keep reading to see what fans are buzzing about right now.
Should Glenn Thore ask for a paternity test regarding Angie?
On the most recent season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, viewers watched Glenn reconnect with his long-lost daughter, Angie. While it was a pretty joyous occasion for the Thores, some viewers weren’t very impressed with the plotline.
In fact, some thought there was a major plot hole involved. How could they be so sure that Angie was Glenn’s biological daughter?
At least one MBFFL viewer thinks that needs to happen, at least.
“First I need to see a PATERNITY test done on Glenn and Angie to follow up with 23&me. Life moves on after death. And hopefully the show will move on about the possibility of Glenn’s new family. Because the plots on the show are ridiculous,” one Redditor shared on the website. “And this may be another made up plot. The way 23 and me found out they may be related is too far fetched. I still would want a paternity test done to see if 23 and me have a legitimate find. Or this is a new hoaky plot.”
Other Redditors didn’t think a paternity test would be necessary
While some Redditors agreed with the OP’s point, a few suggested that it seems unlikely TLC would greenlight the plot without doing their research first.
“They did AncestryDNA, there is nothing odd about the way this family reconnected,” another Redditor chimed in. “I have been a family researcher for about 15 years and this is 100% the way families reconnect. You don’t need a paternity test if enough of your family has tested. I was able to figure out who my great great grandfather and my great great great grandfather was through AncestryDNA.”
“DNA is a little stronger than a paternity test. 23 & me and similar testing is how they track down criminals. You don’t always hit on the exact person you are looking for but you can narrow it down by the people you do find that match,” another added.”
