Taylor Swift Reignites Feud With Kanye West And Kim Kardashian
While Taylor Swift was being interviewed for receiving Time’s Person of the Year, she unearthed a touchy subject. Undoubtedly, she wasn’t holding back. She pulled in a dormant feud from years past with Kanye West. But she also called out The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian.
Honored With Time’s Person of the Year
On December 6, Time Magazine named Taylor Swift the 2023 Person of the Year. Notably, this is the second time she has received the honor. Additionally, she is the first woman who has been on the cover twice since Time began the franchise in 1927. Furthermore, Taylor confirmed her relationship with Travis Kelce in her interview. Moreover, she wasn’t shy in calling out The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian, for her role in the infamous 2016 phone call leak. At the time, the call was between Taylor and Kanye West regarding his song Famous.
Kim Kardashian Blasts Taylor Swift
As you may recall, Kim Kardashian put Taylor Swift on blast in 2016 by posting footage of the call between Taylor and Kanye West. Undeniably, Kim’s social media post made it appear Taylor approves the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that b*tch famous.” But Taylor argues, she never had the full lyrics. Contrarily, four years later, the entire call was released in 2020 which showed the initial leak was an edited version. Additionally, now the singer is confronting the issue yet again with honesty about the toll the incident had on her.

Taylor Swift Talks About Her Turmoil
In the Time interview, Taylor Swift pointedly addresses the feud. She says, “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.” Vulnerably, Taylor admits, “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”
Then Taylor Swift expresses, “I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.” Continuing she says, “I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.” Given that, she believed at the time, “Make no mistake—my career was taken away from me.” Currently, Kim Kardashian has not responded to the resurrection of the quarrel. However, it is most likely a matter of time before she will.
