While on his New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce used a cute nickname for Taylor Swift while thanking her for her support.

Just when you thought that the blooming relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift couldn’t get any more adorable, they go ahead and add another splash of sweetness. Ever since the power couple decided to give love a shot, the fandom worlds of the NFL and pop music have collided. The result has been an addictive mix of two people at the top of their respective games pulling at the heartstrings of fans.

When Reaching A Milestone Leads To A Sweet Gesture

As an 11-year veteran of the NFL, Travis is on the wrong side of thirty in a sport known for its reliance on speed and strength. But that hasn’t stopped him yet. The 34-year-old tight end has continued his All-Pro level play in 2023. As a Hall Of Fame induction becomes more and more likely after his playing days are over, Travis has nothing left to do but break records.

On November 26, Travis became the fastest tight end to accumulate 11,000 receiving yards in a career. He accomplished the feat in 37 fewer games than former Kansas City tight end, Tony Gonzalez. To commemorate the milestone, the Kansas City Chiefs announced the record-breaking performance in an Instagram post.

The post has received over 300,000 likes in just three days. Among the people to like the post was none other than Travis’ significant other, Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift’s Cute Nickname Heard On New Heights Podcast

In the most recent episode of the Kelce Brothers’ New Heights podcast, the topic of Travis’ milestone performance came up for discussion. Jason Kelce seemed to be very proud of his younger brother for his performance, but Travis appeared to dislike the extra attention.

“At this point, it’s cool, but we don’t need to say congrats every time I get to a whole number,” Travis told his brother. “It is kind of nice though.” Travis then attempted to give his teammates the lions share of the credit for making his performance possible. “Shout-out to all my teammates for helping me get these records every week.”

Not one to quit easily, Jason decided to tease his brother just a bit. “You might not care about records but you know who does? A 92%er by the name of Taylor Swift. That’s right. She ‘liked’ an Instagram announcement from the Chiefs about you breaking this record.”

Trying his best not to be embarrassed by his brother, Travis maintained his composure. “Thanks, Tay,” he said as he looked to quickly change the subject. “I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting the Yeti. Yeah … what’s this next question?”

Still not ready to give up on the topic, Jason offered up one more question to his younger brother. “Has she always been a fan of tight end receiving yards,” asked Jason. “Is she a big… tight end receiving yards?”

“I’m not sure. That’s a good question. Maybe. I don’t know,” Travis answered. He then pondered very sarcastically about Taylor’s preference. “I don’t know if she’s a fan of tight ends or not. I’ll have to ask her.”
