Kim Kardashian In New Drama Series, When Is Premiere Date?
Recently, it was announced that The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian will be adding to her acting repertoire. After finishing her role in American Horror Story, Kim revealed she faced many challenges in delivering the part. However, the portrayal of the character Siobhan Walsh went off without a hitch. Afterward, it led Kim to explore her acting career further. She recently discussed a movie she will be producing and acting in and now she is committing to a new Hulu drama series.
Kim Kardashian’s Onscreen Experience
Although Kim Kardashian isn’t new to the screen, she has primarily starred in reality TV. Moreover, she is recognized for her participation in Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the current Hulu series, The Kardashians, which follows the life of the Kardashian-Jenner family. However, she has dabbled in onscreen cameos and voice acting over the past several years as well. Additionally, her new comedy film, The 5th Wheel, just sold to Netflix after a bidding war. In which she intends to not only act but also produce the movie. Undoubtedly, Kim Kardashian admits that acting hasn’t been without its difficulties, but she acknowledges she likes a challenge. Even so, she has pursued acting lessons and continued in the venture to extend her acting resume. Additionally, she has received pushback for “stealing” roles from “real actors.”
However, following Kim’s successful role as American Horror Story’s character, Siobhan Walsh, she received an offer to reteam with the showrunner, Ryan Murphy in a new Hulu drama series.
Kim Kardashian Commits To A New Hulu Drama Series With Ryan Murphy
But now, The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian is bolstering her acting career with a new TV series. Within the new series, two pieces of her world will unite. Markedly, Kim will be putting her experience as an actress together with her exposure to law to good use for a new Hulu legal drama series. Although Kim has yet to pass the bar, her aspiring legal career will aid her in playing her new role. During the series, she will portray “Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm.” Reportedly, her character is loosely based on real-life celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. Notably, she worked with Laura during her divorce proceeding with Kanye West.
When Will The Series Premiere?
Furthermore, this is a scripted series written by Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. While the specifics of the deals are still in negotiation, Ryan Murphy, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner will all executive produce the show. Additionally, preliminary casting for three other actresses to play Kim’s law partners and her onscreen love interest is currently underway. Since Kim will be working on the new movie, The 5th Wheel, she will film the Hulu series after completing her commitment to Netflix. Although the name and release date for the new Hulu series are not yet available, production is projecting a start date in late 2024 and premiere in early 2025.
