Kris Jenner’s Weird Reaction To Kourtney’s Son’s Name Is Telling
On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner has a little slip of what she thinks of the name “Rocky.” While the momager has been attempting to be more relaxed, she just can’t help but be candid at times. During the episode, several times you could tell she was reframing what she initially thought about the situation.
Kris Jenner Is Attempting To Go With The Flow
In the Thursday finale of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner holds her tongue and doesn’t say everything going through her mind. Notably, Kris’ family has pointed out multiple times this season that she is naturally a bit overbearing. But she seems to be making an honest attempt to change. During Kris, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian’s trip to see Blink-182, Kris had several times she wanted to control the situation but tried very hard to let it go. Unfortunately, some of the controlling side still reared its ugly head. For instance, when she needed to know the plan step by step. Additionally, she seems to always want to know what everyone is doing.
But when she spoke about Kourtney not inviting her to the pregnancy announcement, she tried to leave it at “Yeah.” But Khloe elaborated more so Kris told her side of the story. Kris Jenner said, “She forgot she had a family.” Following, Kris tried to reframe that she was pregnant and just “forgot.” However, Kourtney was quick to say that is why she didn’t include Kris and Khloe because it isn’t about them. Additionally, when Kourtney sprung a last-minute gender reveal party on her, she laughed it off as, “Oh, that’s so Kourtney.” Undeniably, you can tell these things still bother her, but she was much quicker to let them go than at other times in the past.
Kris Jenner Has An Unintentional Reaction
At the gender reveal party, Kris Jenner couldn’t help herself. As she blurts out, “What’s the [baby’s] name?” as Kourtney and Travis are passing by. The parents stop and Travis states, “Rocky.” However, unconscious of her initial reaction, she says, “Oh!” then pauses and quickly says, “Okay!” almost in disbelief. Then Travis with a slight defensive shrug says “Yeah.” And he doesn’t offer an additional explanation. But she responds hollowly, “I love it!” After she let out a boisterous, strange laugh, Kourtney and Travis turn and walk away.
Reframing Her Way Through Life
After the scene with Kris Jenner asking about the baby’s name, the cameras cut to a confessional interview of her talking about her new view on life. She says, “This has been my year to only say ‘yes’ to things I love. And that’s what I did. And I think I’m going to stick with this plan.” Seemingly, Kris took the editing option to make it appear she was saying, “I love it!” genuinely. While it may not have been convincing that she liked the name, perhaps in reality Kris did. However, either way, she seems to be making an effort not to speak her mind on everything even though she is tempted.
