Kody Brown’s Shocking & Shameful Act Against Meri Revealed
In a preview for this week’s episode of Sister Wives, a shocking piece of information about Kody Brown has come to light. During her one-on-one interview with Sukanya Krishnan, Christine Brown admits she’s probably stepping over a line and sharing a story that isn’t hers to share. She, however, adds that “here we are” before sharing it anyway.
According to Christine Brown, there is a reason why Meri was so quick to notice Kody’s new ring. There was a backstory. A backstory that Sister Wives fans did not know about. What was that backstory? Keep reading for the shocking and shameful details.
Kody Brown’s Shocking & Shameful Act Against Meri Revealed
As fans know, Meri and Kody Brown got married in 1990. They were married for years before getting divorced on paper in September 2014. At the time, however, Meri Brown was still spiritually married to Kody. Christine recalled that shortly after Robyn entered the picture but before they were legally married on paper, Kody’s wedding ring seemingly disappeared.
Christine Brown explained that when Meri asked Kody where the ring was his response was cold and blunt. He told her that he melted down the ring. He, however, kept the gold and the diamonds.
Well, Meri found out she’s like, ‘Well, where’s my ring? You don’t wear it anymore.’ He’s like, ‘I melted it down’. Just like that. He’s like, ‘I didn’t want Meri to have control over me and power over me anymore.’
The Claddagh Ring
Christine proceeded to explain it was following the ring drama that Kody Brown got his Claddagh ring. All four of his wives went in on the ring together to give it to him as a gift. Kody Brown wore the ring as a symbol of his relationship with Meri, Robyn, Christine, and Janelle until his relationships started to fall apart.
Then, sometime later, Kody Brown ended up with a new ring. A ring that he decided with just Robyn. Christine admitted the new ring with just Robyn really painted a clear picture of what was going on. At least it did for her.
Given the ring drama, she is not too surprised Meri noticed the new ring. She assumes Robyn also had a hand in that ring. Christine Brown, however, was not negative about the new ring. Instead, she said she hoped the new ring was a symbol of a new beginning for Kody and Robyn.
