Undoubtedly, Vanderpump Rules stars, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have been very busy over the past few months. Markedly, both have been in several TV shows. And Ariana has still been recovering from Scandoval and all that it brought. But what is going on with Something About Her? Notably, fans had news of delays with the restaurant in August, but they hoped to be open by November 2023. Now, people are showing frustration with the latest update.
Ariana Madix Is One Busy Lady
In recent months, Ariana Madix was busy with Dancing With The Stars. Unquestionably, it takes dedication to practice and perform for DWTS. Notably, the Vanderpump Rules star is still wrapping up the competition since she has made her way to the finals. Seemingly, Ariana is experiencing a double booking during the finals. While the finale is set for next week, she’s run into a scheduling conflict with the release of her highly anticipated book: Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches. It will discuss the difficult year she has with Tom Sandoval cheating and also give some delicious recipes to help get you through tough times. Additionally, she also appeared in a Lifetime movie Buying Back My Daughter. And of course, she and Katie Maloney partnered to open the sandwich shop, Something About Her.
What Is Going On With Something About Her?
In August, fans got an update that Something About Her was facing delays because of inspection issues. But now, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have announced a new partnership with the restaurant. On November 30, the ladies posted on Instagram two photos showcasing merchandise they are releasing for the holiday season. Additionally, they were excited to promote the products because it will also benefit homeless youth.
The caption: “LINK IN BIO: Surprise! We’ve got some new @somethingabouther merch for you, just in time for the holidays. Check out these bada** socks that we made in collaboration with @hippyfeetsocks. Every pair is made in the USA and created with recycled materials. Better yet, Hippy Feet is committed to donating 50% of its profits to charities working to end youth homelessness. For this particular collaboration, donations will be given to our neighbor over in West Hollywood, @myfriendsplace. We’ve been so grateful for your support this past year that we decided to pay it forward through this special collaboration. Help us help youth affected by homelessness here in Los Angeles and get some incredibly dope socks while you’re at it.”

But fans didn’t seem impressed by the two entrepreneurs’ promotion. Following Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s post, fans quickly discussed their disappointment. Several jumped at the opportunity to talk about the status of Something About Her:
- The first comment following theirs says, “I’d like to buy a sandwich though.”
- “Selling merch for a store that still doesn’t exist is getting weird now.”
- “Something about her socks… nothing about her sandwiches.”
- “All socks no sandwiches.”
- Someone else says, “Seriously? More merch for a non-existent sandwich shop?”
- “How are you selling merch for a shop that isn’t even open??? Seems so fishy, I love y’all but I don’t get it at all.”
- Another stood up for the ladies, “Yeah and they’d love to be able to sell them 😂 why do you think they’re doing merch to get by while waiting for passing inspections.”

- Some even mentioned if they opened the sandwich shop they could feed the hungry that way.
