Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn has not been having a very good time in the jungle on the ITV reality series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Jamie Lynn Spears has decided to follow Grace Dent’s lead and quit the series. Her decision to quit follows just days behind Grace Dent exiting the series “on medical grounds.”

Britney Spears’ Sister Jamie Lynn QUITS ‘I’m A Celebrity’
According to Deadline, a spokesperson of the ITV reality series confirmed Jamie Lynn Spears has left the jungle and will not be returning for “medical reasons.” Unfortunately, the spokesperson did not disclose exactly what happened to Jamie that required her to leave the show.
As fans know, Jamie Lynn was NOT having a very good time on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Viewers watched as she broke down to tears multiple times. Jamie Lynn revealed part of the reason she was having such a rough time on the show was because of how much she missed her children.
During her stint on the show, she even got candid about the emotional time she nearly lost her daughter. Telling her story, Jamie acknowledged that most parents in her situation didn’t have the same miraculous outcome.
A spokesperson of the series did issue an official statement on her exit from the series for medical reasons. See the statement below:
“Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”
She Said She Wanted To Quit
On Tuesday’s episode of the series, Jamie Lynn Spears broke down while telling her campmates she was ready to quit and leave the jungle.
“I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here. This place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives. Dear God, please help me to make it. I think I’ve got to leave, I think I’ve got to leave.”
As fans know, she was one of ten celebrities who headed into the outback for this series. Jamie Lynn Spears wanting to quit came as a bit of a surprise to some of her fans as this wasn’t exactly her first rodeo. She was also a cast member of Season 1 of Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test earlier this year.
Fans Aren’t Buying It
Unfortunately for Britney Spears’ little sister, some fans of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! are not buying that she left for “medical reasons.”
Jamie had threatened to quit on multiple occasions. So, fans suspect it is convenient that she suddenly had a medical excuse to leave.
