Who Completed Training On Fox Reality Show? (SPOILERS)

Season 2 of Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test came to a dramatic conclusion on Monday, November 27. When the season kicked off in September, fourteen celebrities thought they were tough enough to complete the type of physical and mental challenges that members of the military’s special forces undergo.

Of those fourteen, only three were given passing grades by the staff agents. Two contestants went home. The only way to leave Special Forces is to quit or have the staff dismiss you. Surprising absolutely no one, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval was dismissed.

“He’s been overdramatic the entire course,” one of the staff said about Sandoval (via Yahoo! Entertainment.)

JoJo Siwa – who displayed surprising determination and strength throughout the competition – chose to leave the show before the end.

Season 1 of Special Forces had two winners – Tyler Cameron’s ex Hannah Brown and former pro soccer player Carli Lloyd.

Three contestants from Season 2 received passing grades to win the competition – Cameron, fellow Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall and Olympic speed skater Erin Jackson.

Filming of Special Forces took place several months ago, and afterward, Tyler Cameron went on a weeks-long vacation to Fiji. Why did he stay away so long?

Typically after filming reality shows, celebs rush home to reunite with their family, but not Tyler Cameron. After winning Special Forces, he jetted off to Fiji for three weeks of fun in the sun. But was it fun for everyone?

He told PEOPLE magazine that he booked a prolonged stay at a resort that was populated by couples. Cameron, 30, is single, though he hopes to start a family in the next few years.

Tyler Cameron described the resort as a “honeymoon place” and copped to being a “third wheel” to a lot of newlyweds.

“They’re all like, ‘Who’s this annoying guy? Leave us alone. We’re trying to enjoy intimate time,’” he joked about the situation.

Why did he choose to spend time with strangers instead of going home to his family? Cameron explained, “I really needed time to digest it on my own, because what we went through was truly deep, remarkable.”

He said that he knew that if he went right home, he would resume his regular life of work instead of processing the experience.

How The Tough Competition Changed His Perspective

During the staff evaluations at the end of the competition, Tyler Cameron was praised for stepping up and showing them “another level” of himself.

Cameron admitted that he always struggled with not being good enough. “I’ve always just come up just short. And I think the biggest thing I want to prove to myself from here is that I can close that gap,” he said.

The reality star veteran said he was “proud” of his performance on Special Forces and said it showed him the man he wants to be. “This is a huge stepping stone in the foundation to really build my future.”

  1. I have been through specialized military training and it changes you. I hated almost every minute of it, I cursed it, I wanted to quit, and I thought I was going to die at times, I wanted to die at times, but I didn’t. It was the worst and the best experience of my life and even 40 years later it’s a part of me. I regret nothing. It changes you. I totally understand his need to be alone and decompress. It’s a lot. Tyler will be a very different and better person after it. Welcome to the brotherhood and sisterhood.
