‘Teen Mom’ Chelsea Houska Adopts New Family Member

Teen Mom Chelsea Houska Adopts New Family Member

In a new Instagram update, Chelsea revealed they added a new member to their family just a week ago via adoption.

She penned in the caption of the post: “Meet GOOSE! We adopted Goose from @bsquaddogrescue last week and he has been an absolute DREAM! Barb & Dale are loving having a new dog friend.”

In the comments of her post, she shared a little more information on Goose. She told fans he was a year old. Furthermore, he was a mix of a few different breeds: “Great Pyrenees/golden/doodle.”

Chelsea Houska added that he was a dream addition to the family as he was such a good dog. Check out the photo she shared of the newest addition to her family below:

Fans React To New Addition

Teen Mom fans were all over the place with reactions to this news. One fan noted they tried to adopt Goose for months. So, they were a bit bummed to see Goose go to someone else. Others responded to the comment noting the rescue is particular about getting the right fit for a dog.

A few Teen Mom fans wanted to know where Chelsea’s other furbabies were. While she was happy to report her basset was fine. She was sad to remind her fans that Phil had passed away earlier this year.

MTV fans, however, were quick to praise Chelsea for adopting instead of shopping. Reality TV fans largely hate it when a celebrity decides to purchase a furbaby instead of adopting one in need. Here’s what some of her other followers had to say:

Teen Mom fans adored how happy Goose looked in the photo Chelsea shared on her profile. Overall, fans had nothing but good things to say about this latest update. Fans, however, were sad to learn Phil passed away earlier this year.
