Lifetime has a new holiday movie Christmas At The Chalet. What is this movie about? According to The Futon Critic, Lex Riley is in the middle of a midlife crisis. She is a former television host and a socialite. However, she wound up getting divorced because her ex wanted to be more famous, while she was more in a nesting phase.
But, right now, her perfect life is in a bit of a tailspin. It is Christmas, and she wants to spend it with her son George. This Christmas, he is celebrating with his dad, but George wants his mom around too.
However, the idea of spending it at a luxury chalet with her ex-husband, on-air sportscaster, Charles Hammond, and his much younger girlfriend, Liese, is not to her liking. She wants to be with her son but doesn’t want to be put in this uncomfortable situation.
Unfortunately, she cannot get a room. Instead, George convinces her to work at the chalet as an Influencer “chalet person.” Now, thanks to George’s social media savvy, she can document what she does there for her followers. In addition, she can be close to her son, without having to to deal with the ex.
But, when she meets the Chalet owner Eric Tremblay, her life starts to completely change. Has she found love?
