Was Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans giving her son, Jace, 14, pot instead of his regulated medications? There was some drama over whether or not she took him off of his meds. That was after she regained custody in early 2023. So, did she possibly utilize weed for the time being? Read on for more details.

While Jace Evans was being raised by his grandmother, Barbara, he was apparently on medication and seeing a therapist. However, when he first ran away from his mother, Jenelle Evans’ home, Barbara felt it was medication-related. She explained that Jenelle had taken Jace off of his meds and that may have been a big factor in his leaving. Of course, Jenelle maintained Jace was still in therapy but when he left the third time, he was placed in the custody of CPS. Jace then went to live with his grandmother but has since been removed after he ran away again.

Jace’s medication status is unclear as Barbara maintained that Jenelle still had control over that aspect. Now it seems Jenelle was possibly medicating Jace in a way she saw fit. According to a Reddit thread, she was allegedly giving him weed instead. Elle Bee made a whole video about it which was shared on Twitter/X .

Per the video, Elle explained that Jenelle Evans did not believe Jace needed his meds so she took him off of them. That was when things started to get bad, he struggled to sleep, and it was not a good situation. Apparently, Jace ended up telling kids at school that his mom let him use her marijuana pen to aid in sleep. That was too much for Elle who claimed she was beside herself over it all.

So, did Redditors believe this of the former Teen Mom star? More so, what was their reaction to the possibility that Jenelle Evans was self-medicating Jace? It was a shock, to say the least.

Omg this is so scary. Marijuana use in young people can cause so many issues. Psychosis can be triggered by marijuana usage.
Look, I’m all for cannabis and I truly believe it can be extremely helpful for a host of ailments and pain control. But it doesn’t do a damn thing for ADHD. And Jenelle is NOT A DOCTOR, no matter what she may think with her miller motte self. This enrages me for Jace.

So, clearly, this is not something that fans and followers support in the slightest. At this point, it is just alleged. Hopefully, Jace can truly get whatever help that he needs so he can thrive as he so deserves to.
