Jesse Palmer reveals gutting Golden Bachelor finale
Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer spoke to Entertainment Tonight about Gerry Turner’s gut-wrenching season finale. He said that Gerry’s last goodbye is “by far the most heartbreaking.”
Jesse also revealed his conversation with Gerry about what could happen when the cameras shut off in the fantasy suites. He said it is one he would never forget. He said, “Talking to a 72-year-old man about intimacy and what he expects going into fantasy suites. There were moments I just wanted to jump into the volcano that was behind us there in Costa Rica.”
Jesse went on to say that Gerry has had a lot of very difficult goodbyes. However, he noted the final goodbye is the most difficult for Gerry. It was heartbreaking.
Jesse thinks fans will see all that at the finale. Gerry himself says he thinks fans will be moved as much as he was moved in the moment of it all.
The preview reveals Gerry struggling
Gerry Turner tells Jesse Palmer in the preview that the only time he ever felt worse was when his wife passed away. He went on to say this is a very close second.
In the previews, Gerry also says he thinks he made a mistake. He can be seen walking down the hallway at the hotel visibly upset.
When fans saw the fantasy suite episode end, they saw Gerry say he made his final decision. However, previews for next week show both Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima meeting his family.
His daughters seem to be telling him that they only think one woman is really committed to the process. Who are they talking about and will it affect Gerry’s final decision?
Fans will see everything come to a dramatic conclusion on Thursday, November 30. The finale will be live and last two hours rather than the usual one.
