Hallmark’s Lacey Chabert is officially the Christmas Queen of 2023. Her recently premiered Royal Christmas Movie entitled A Merry Scottish Christmas is the most watched in 2023.

However, this Party of Five reunion with Scott Wolf, with the dancing Will Kemp cameo is more than the top Hallmark movie. It is the top cable movie of 2023.

Hallmark’s A Merry Scottish Christmas Is The Most Watched Cable Movie Of The Year

Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf’s Party Of Five Hallmark Christmas movie reunion is a huge success. According to Tuesday’s Hallmark Media press release, A Merry Scottish Christmas is the number one cable movie in 2023.

Lacey’s first 2023 holiday movie is the network’s most-watched movie in 2023. That includes Lacey’s hit Wedding Veil trilogy, where she stars along with Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney.

In addition, on Saturday, A Merry Scottish Christmas beat out “all other cable and broadcast programs among key demos.” This includes women and persons 18+, 25-54, 18-49, and 55+.

Hallmark Celebrates Big Weekend

In addition to Lacey’s A Merry Scottish Christmas, Friday and Sunday’s movies were also successful. On the day before, Navigating Christmas starring Chelsea Hobbs and Stephen Huszar, was the number one most-watched entertainment cable program among households, total viewers, persons 18+, Women 25-54, and 18-39.

Then, on Sunday, Niall Matter and Emily Tenant starred in the charming Holiday Hotline. That was the number one most-watched entertainment cable program among households, total viewers, and persons 18+. This movie competed against three other network’s Christmas movies and rose above them all.

On Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, A World Record Christmas starring Nikki DeLoach and Lucas Bryant was the “number one most watched entertainment cable program for households, total viewers, and women and persons 18+.”

Millions Of People Are Watching Hallmark Christmas Movies

Perhaps the most astounding number in this new press release is the total amount of viewers so far this Christmas season. “Combined, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday programming have reached 28.4 million unduplicated viewers thus far.

A Merry Thanksgiving Weekend Starts Wednesday

Hallmark may be adding quite a few new viewers to that astounding 28.4 million viewers. That is because Thanksgiving week is traditionally the biggest viewing week of the year.

On Wednesday, HMM premieres A Season For Family starring Stacey Farber and Brendan Penny. Then, starting on Thanksgiving, all the premieres are on the Hallmark Channel. The first is Italia Ricci and Luke Macfarlane in the funny Santa comedy Catch Me If You Claus.

Starting on Friday, the network is doubling up on movies. That means premieres at 6 p.m., and 8 p.m., Eastern. This includes Lacey Chabert’s second Christmas movie, Haul Out The Holly: Lit Up, on Saturday night. The final movie of the weekend is on Sunday night. This is the highly anticipated movie A Biltmore Christmas starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Kristoffer Polaha.
