What Is Hallmark’s Navigating Christmas About?
Imagine spending Christmas at a lighthouse. According to the synopsis, Melanie is recently divorced. This is her first Christmas as a single woman, celebrating alone. That is because her ex-husband is taking their teenage son, Jason, on a snowboarding trip.
However, Jason’s holiday is ruined when his father cancels at the last minute. Now, Melanie must figure out a fun way to celebrate the holiday with her son. Because this is last minute, almost everything is booked up. But the one open place is a lighthouse on St. Nicholas Island. This looks charming and adventurous.
The ferry ride over is a nightmare. To make matters worse, Melanie encounters a “smug” ferry passenger who doesn’t start out trip the right way. Turns out, when they get to the lighthouse, it looks nothing like the photos. Add insult to injury, that smug passenger is Peter, the owner of the lighthouse.
Worst of all, this is “an immersive experience that comes with lighthouse duties, including decorating it for the holidays, so it will be ready for the Christmas festival.”
Unexpectedly, Peter does help them out, despite declaring his distaste for the season. It turns out that Peter grew up living at the lighthouse. Now, he starts to teach Jason Morse code with the lighthouse spotlight, and the two bond.
Yet, Peter is keeping a few things from Melanie and Jason. There is a secret about the lighthouse that he doesn’t want to share. One secret that Jason discovers is the real reason his father bailed on him.
After he takes off, leaving Melanie and Peter searching for him, there may still be a miracle left at the old lighthouse.

When Is The Premiere Of Navigating Christmas?
The premiere of Navigating Christmas is on Sunday, November 19, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. In addition, this movie will be available on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
This Is Stephen Huszar’s Second 2023 Hallmark Christmas Movie
Stephen Huszar is one of just a couple of Hallmark actors, including Lacey Chabert, who made two Christmas movies this season. Huszar’s other Christmas movie took place during Christmas In July. The movie was a Hallmark Royal Romance called A Royal Christmas Crush.
This movie starred Katie Cassidy, and it turned out to change both Katie’s and Stephen’s lives. They fell in love on set and are still going strong. That is the magic of Hallmark!
