Big Brother Unveils Its Newest Twist: ‘Big Brother: Reindeer Games’
Big Brother has revealed many twists and turns throughout its run on the air, and it looks like they’re not done throwing curve balls just yet. During the finale of the latest season of the show, three familiar faces from past seasons collectively put an end to the latest twist, only to unveil another. Well-known former players, Frankie Grande, Britney Haynes, and Danielle Reyes helped the BB residents close the portal to another dimension (a portal they opened in their efforts to reach their destination: the BB house). However, every action comes with a consequence, and this one led to the opening of the Big Brother Holiday Universe! This new universe has become the plot for a new spinoff show, Big Brother: Reindeer Games!
What Is Big Brother: Reindeer Games?
This new adventure consists of six episodes that take place over the course of two action-packed weeks of competition and rivalry. This is Big Brother, but the concept has changed, and so have the rules. The show will air on CBS three times a week and will also be available to stream on Paramount+. Episodes will consist of three holiday-themed competitions, including “Santa’s Showdown”, that will determine the next contestant to face elimination.
That’s right, Reindeer Games has done away with house voting! In fact, there is no house, no live feeds, no live shows, and no Julie! Julie Moonves has been the heart and soul of Big Brother from day one, but it seems she will be sitting this one out. Instead, previous fan favorites, Tiffany Mitchell, Jordan Lloyd, and Derek Xiao will appear as Santa’s Elves and direct the contestants through this special season of Big Brother.
Who Can We Expect to See This Season?
As of this time, the cast is still unknown to the public, but it is said that the show will consist of past BB contestants. It will be a shame if the producers don’t take this opportunity to recruit Season 19 contestant, Christmas Abbott right? As the finale approaches, the cast will quickly dwindle down from nine to four final players, all competing for the grand prize worth $100,000.
So Many Questions!
While the show’s concept is quickly being revealed, there are still a few missing pieces. Where will the contestants reside? The Big Brother house is a well-known staple of the hit reality show. However, it will surprisingly not be a part of this season. Where will the drama come from? It’s no secret that drama is one of the driving forces behind the success of Big Brother. Will there be any reward similar to the highly coveted ‘Power of Veto’ seen on regular seasons of the show?
Nothing Is Ever As It Seems
However straightforward the facts seem, there is always more to Big Brother than meets the eye. As the contestants always say, “We’re playing chess, not checkers.” Tune in to Big Brother: Reindeer Games on Monday, December 11th at 8:00 PM for a special two-hour premiere! And remember to Expect the Unexpected!
